We extend our sincere thanks to Ken Taylor for his dedicated service on our Board of Trustees.
Ken’s leadership and commitment have made a meaningful impact on both our organization and the broader community. His thoughtful, professional demeanor, along with his background in fish and wildlife management, brought valuable insight and perspective to our work.
When asked, Bill Bell, President-Elect and Treasurer of the Board, shared, “I appreciate his quiet expertise, his deliberate thoughtfulness, and his wide-ranging community support, from writing heartfelt thank-you notes to donors to bringing his pets to long-term care facilities to the delight of residents.”
Suzanne Bishop, a English Language Arts teacher & Yearbook Advisor at Homer High School, has witnessed Ken’s care for the community firsthand. She shared, “Ken is someone who cares deeply about Homer and is committed to making it a better place. I’ve seen him step up to mentor students with enthusiasm and kindness. From the time he moved here, it was clear he wanted to be part of something positive and make a difference.”
While Ken is stepping off the board, we’re grateful he will continue to share his time and expertise as a member of the Development Committee.
